Once again an interesting day at the Blue E.  We’ve often joked about our ongoing saga here would make a great soap opera!

The Brew House is definitely starting to take shape.  The beautiful copper “plumbing art”, hanging off the ceiling is all in place.  I can’t wait for the ceiling to be painted ‘Black Bean”.

The Verboom plumber boys are very proud of their copper pipe display, actually when you think about it this job must have been a treat for them.  Normally all their handy work is buried in the walls or under concrete.

The bricked in door looks fabulous and the walls are ready to be sanded, can’t wait for more flooring mess!

Friday the Thirteenth

The Biker weekend was awesome!  The weather was perfect and there were lots of cool bikes and interesting people.

I guess the highlight of the whole weekend for me would definitely be the “Bathroom Pooper”  Maybe someone could explain to me how a person could miss the hole in the toilet, but is able to leave their “calling card” everywhere else.  Including the walls and no I can’t make this $&!! up.

I can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring…and this is why I continue to run a restaurant!

We have some exciting renovations underway.  Sorry for any inconvenience this will cause.  Here are some picture so you can see how it is going.  Not to worry we will be open during this time.

Just off the back patio at The Blue Elephant lies Ted’s Shed!  A few years ago a box of chalk was left in the shed and people went crazy with it.  Writing their names all over the shed.  We loved it!

Now we have tourists that come in every year to see if their names are still on the wall of Ted’s Shed.  Or to bring people to add their name to our wall.
